I was excited to try it at first, but collecting it the right way ended up being harder than I expected. One minute I thought I had it figured out, and the next I was annoyed because it just wasn’t going smoothly. It’s not impossible, but it definitely took more patience than I thought it would.

I was disappointed after checking it out. From what I could tell, they only cover a fairly limited range of species, and unfortunately my pets weren’t included. So for my situation, it just wasn’t useful. I probably should’ve looked more closely before getting my hopes up.

I gave them another shot and ordered a second time, but it was just as bad as the first. Shipping took forever AGAIN, and when I tried to get help, it felt like no one really cared or gave me a useful answer...

I ordered through their marketplace thing it was just a headache. The order took forever to show up, the tracking was basically useless for days, and support kept sending those same canned replies like the Copy-Paste Department was running the show. Maybe it works out for other people, but I wouldn’t bother with Orivet again

I really appreciated that I paid exactly what they showed me upfront. No random fees or confusing charges popped up later.

I found the results kind of useful, especially for getting a general idea of possible health risks. It was a decent starting point and gave me some extra info to think about. But this is where it got annoying: for the price, I really expected more detail and clearer explanations. It’s not bad by any means, but I wouldn’t say it blew me away either

Reached out twice about my order and got zero response. Frustrating, and not helpful at all.

I took the ancestry and traits test hoping for some fun, accurate insights, but wow... the trait results felt so far off it was almost unbelievable. A lot of it was super vague, and some things didn’t describe me at all. I sat there thinking, “Did they mix me up with someone else?” It felt less like real information and more like I paid for a bunch of random guesses.

The promos seem decent overall, but something feels off with the discount codes. I tried using them a few times, and they failed twice for me, which was frustrating.

Orivet came across as legit to me, and I did appreciate that they explain some of how their testing works. The results were easy enough to read, which was nice.
I guess I just wanted more detail about the lab side of things, like accreditations, how samples are handled, and how often their processes are checked. Maybe that info is there somewhere, but I felt like I had to go looking for it.

Not sure how to explain it, but I didn’t feel totally reassured by the amount of information provided. It wasn’t a bad experience at all, just more of a 3-star one for me.

I did get the results back, but my vet felt like some parts were vague. We had to spend extra time going over what everything actually meant, and in the end it didn’t really help much when it came to deciding on treatment options.

Seems secure so far. Haven’t had any issues, and feels like it does what it’s supposed to.

Not gonna lie, this just didn’t work well for what I need as a breeder. It felt too clunky when trying to manage litters and track results, and I ended up getting frustrated with it quickly.

Orivet has a good range of products, and I liked that they offered more than just the basic DNA test. It made it easier to choose something that actually suited my dog without feeling too overwhelmed. A few of the pages could’ve been clearer, though, and I had to spend a bit of time comparing options. I’ll admit that after I paid, I felt a little doubtful for a moment because I wasn’t totally sure what to expect next, but everything ended up being fine. Overall, it was a good experience and I’d consider using them again

I got this test for my dog and it was easy to do, no real issues there. But some of the results just didn’t really line up with what my vet told me later, so I’m kind of unsure about how accurate it is. For the price, I guess I expected it to feel a bit more reliable or something.

Got my results in about 3 weeks, which was a little longer than I was hoping for, but still not too bad. Updates were clear enough along the way. Overall happy with the experience, just wish the turnaround had been a bit quicker.

They did a good job keeping me in the loop, which I appreciated. The replies were clear too, not one of those situations where you have to reread everything three times to figure out what’s going on. It did take a little longer than I was hoping, and I was mostly thinking about the timing at first, but looking back, the communication itself was solid overall.

I paid quite a bit, so I guess I went in expecting something more polished or impressive. But based on the final results, it felt basic, like they were just doing the bare minimum. Maybe that wasn’t the intention, but that’s how it came across to me. For the price, I just don’t feel like it was worth it

I ordered my Orivet kit and it showed up faster than I expected, I think. Shipping seemed smooth overall, and the box was in good shape when it arrived. Everything inside was easy enough to find, and the tracking worked fine so I had a decent idea of when it was coming. No real complaints on the delivery side

I found some of the educational info on Orivet helpful, especially for getting a basic understanding of pet genetics. A few pages were easy to follow, but others felt way too brief or were kind of hard to track down. I’d really like to see more real examples and simpler explanations. It’s not bad, but if they don’t expand or make the info easier to use, I’ll probably start looking for a better resource...
